Ding-dong, Bin Laden is Dead and Obama gave the order

Just as Osama Bin Laden is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans and others because he gave the order to those under his command to carry out acts of terror both here and abroad, Barrack Obama is the man ultimately responsible for the death of Bin Laden. As Commander-In-Chief of the U.S. Armed Services, Obama gave the order for the brave and competent Navy Seal team to carry out the extraction of Bin Laden on Pakistani soil; an operation that Obama promised he would do back in 2007 should he find out that Bin Laden was indeed being harbored there.

At the time, many politicians, including Democrats who where running against Obama in the run-up to the 2008 presidential election, accused Obama of tipping his hand and showing naivete when it comes to international politics. Today, those same politicians are either praising Obama (many begrudgingly) for his savvy, tenacity and courage (if the operation had failed, his enemies would be rejoicing today even though it would mean another failure for the U.S.), or scheming to come up with some other atrocious, racist red herring to stick to the President in an effort to bring him down no matter what the consequences for the nation and the world at large. The former have my respect for showing a modicum of class over the events of the past week. The latter can go suck it!
